Would you like your museum exploration© customized to address specific interests, or curriculum needs? Easily done! We offer two kinds of customized curricula at no extra charge, as well as an enrichment program built around multiple museum visits. We’ll work closely and carefully with you to focus the exploration to your exact needs.
Personalized Curriculum Modifications
We will work with teachers to personalize our standard explorations to address your specific curricular needs. For example, if you would like your visit to the Holocaust Museum to begin a unit on the Holocaust, provide us with an outline of your curriculum. We will send you a modified exploration curriculum, and we will continue to work with you until it meets with your approval. Alternatively, you might use your visit to the Holocaust Museum to complete a Holocaust unit. In that case, we will work with you to develop exercises that you can use for learning assessments.
Build on your classroom work
We realize that many schools have little or no time to teach art and culture or the Holocaust because of competing priorities. Therefore, we can make our two hour exploration a unit in itself, including, if desired, a creative and challenging wrap-up essay that students will complete later in the day, or when they return to school.
